It’s the dawn of a new digital era, one that removes the previous
confinement of expensive and complicated POS systems and that has pretty
much rendered them obsolete. While the makers of POS software and
terminals bide on obfuscating restaurant owners with a ton of facts as
to why they need their system, and why they need to shell out thousands
of dollars for it, the reality is that they are trying to sell people on
something that is overpriced and outdated. For instance, the computer
terminals cost a few thousand dollars, and they are not even up to par
with the current state of technology. Then you have the software, which
they nail buyers on with multiple usage licenses that cost a ton of
money. But the new solution is far more affordable, equally as feature
laden, takes up less space, and costs a fraction of the price, found in
the revolutionary iPad POS.
